Finished reading: Moonflower Murders: A Novel (Magpie Murders Book 2) by Anthony Horowitz π
Enjoyed this as much as the first in the series. Whether itβs these novels within novels, or the Hawthorn autofiction, I think heβs a clever writer.

Finished reading (a few weeks ago): Mr Penumbra’s 24-hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan π
Second or third reading of this, but not for a little while. Love Robin Sloaneβs work.
I finished reading: The Garden Against Time by Olivia Laing π Beautifully-written account of nurturing a garden, interspersed with (sometimes difficult) periods of garden history.

Currently reading: The Girl In The Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz π I feel this may lack a little je ne sais quoi over the Stieg Larsson original trilogy, but still enjoying it. I’ve always loved the way these books mix action and thrills with making coffee and a sandwich.
Finished reading: In a House of Lies by Ian Rankin π I’ve lost track of which of the 24 Rebus novels I’ve read. This was definitely new to me though, and very enjoyable as always.
