Avian August

I’m following the drawing prompts of Avian August 2026. I’m hoping to both improve my drawing/painting skills, and also focus more on the process rather than the desired outcome.

Days 6 & 7 of Avian August: a Purple Glossy Starling and a Painted Bunting. Trying with and without an outline.

Day 5 of Avian August: a scarlet macaw. Felt like I started to hit a groove with this one.
